Alfonso founded Cardonal Consulting following his experience as Legal Manager of the Institutional Distribution team at PICTON, a leading placement firm for alternative assets in Latin America. In that role, he advised institutional investors and asset managers on the legal, regulatory, and tax matters relevant to fundraising across the region.
A lawyer from the University of Chile with over 12 years of experience, Alfonso now advises pension funds, insurance companies, and family offices across Latin America on the legal and regulatory aspects of investing abroad. He is fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French.

Valentina joined Cardonal Consulting in 2024, having previously worked as an associate in the Investment Funds team at EDN Abogados, where she advised pension funds, unemployment funds, and other financial institutions on their foreign investment structures.
A lawyer from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, graduated with honors in 2020, she has over five years of experience advising clients in the alternative assets space, with particular focus on fund documentation review and side letter negotiation. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and German.
